Judd M. Harris is a lifelong Chicagoan, having grown up in Glencoe, Illinois and attended New Trier East High School. He studied Castilian Spanish at the Instituto Internacional de Madrid, Espana, as a part of his Bachelor's Degree received in 1980 from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and became a member of the Illinois Bar in 1984. He is fluent in Spanish, and unabashedly proud of his three teenage children, Charles, Sofia and Micki.
Although his practice has spanned an extraordinarily wide spectrum of different areas of law, he has concentrated in Tax Sale law and Real Estate transactions for three decades. He has taught law related courses at Robert Morris College, and numerous Tax Sale seminars to start up investors, in addition to teaching Tax Sale law to attorneys at certified Mandatory Continuing Legal Education seminars. He has represented municipalities, large commercial investment corporations and first time buyers in several thousand Petitions for Tax Deed and corollary matters. His practice extends to all counties in Northern Illinois.
Mr. Harris is an attorney-agent of Professional National Title Network, Inc. and Chicago Title Insurance Co. He has developed and grown an extensive network of associated attorneys in the most specialized areas of the law, in order to serve clients with the most diverse legal situations and transactions.
He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
